I posted my first impressions of the Modogrip a few weeks ago and there were a lot of people asking about pricing. Some of you already own a 680B monopod or just want some of the hardware. Well it looks like they are now offering packages starting at $205 that are a hardware only option, with everything you need to turn your monopod into a Modogrip. This makes the price a lot more attractive if you’re on a tight budget.

I’m still working on the review for the Modogrip, but so far I’ve been very happy with the tests. I have a few projects coming up at the end of this month and I’d like to take the Modogrip out with me to see how it works. I also think, with a little bit of work I might be able to turn the Modogrip into a 4 foot mini camera crane. But that project might take me a little more time to work out.
