I’ve ordered 2 cameras from these sales, a 6d this year at $1499 and a 5d mk III last year when they dropped down to $2400. What they do is they buy a bunch of 24-105mm f4/5dmkIII (or 6d) kits when they are on sale. Then they take the lens out of the kit and sale the camera and the lens separately. When you’re camera shows up it’s in a Combo kit box, but only camera body is inside. The cameras I picked up showed up and registered in Canon’s CPS program.
