It looks like someone has finally started cloning the Edelkrone rigs. This generic clone from india
looks like it has most of the same features offered by the entry level Edelkrone rigs at about a 1/4 of the price. At $378, it’s still a very pricy rig for a clone and I have no idea how well this thing is made. If you feel like taking a chance and don’t have the $1200 to spend on an official Edelkrone rig this guy might be a valid option. If you decide to take the dive send me some pictures and opinions, I’d be interested to know how it turns out.

I just purchased this and discovered I hated the top handle that came with it, its flimsy, plastic and is kinda shaky. SO I took the risk and bought and Edelkrone Top Handlehoping the knock off was close enough to the specs that it would fit. Well, its identical! No play what so ever and fits flawlessly! Anyone who buys this Filmcity “modula” can upgrade and expand with Edelkrone! I think this makes this deal AMAZING. Plus it comes with a really solid case, though I need to refoam it to make it useful.

The cost of the Modula 3 Bundle is $699.99, Rods $149.99, and PRO Camera Plate $69.99. I add those two items to make it the same as the FilmCity Rig-2 bundle, though Edelkrone does not give you a plastic case, which is a bit lame.
