There are DIY Cardboard cameras out there for under $30 that you can build in your spare time. But what if you want a Digital camera made out of cardboard? That’s were Ikea steps in with the Knappa camera. The camera is designed to take 40 snap shots before you toss it into the recycling bin and will be included with select furniture purchases in Ikea’s new lineup.
Sure there are a lot of single use cameras on the market, but how many of them include Ikea brand batteries (who knew they made batteries) and a usb port to retrieve your photos? For now you wont actually be able to buy the camera, but it’s still a cool concept. It would be worth $10 just as a conversation starter or odd ball gift for a fellow photographer.
