The Canon 5d mark II is still a great camera for stills and video. With it’s Full frame sensor, good low light performance, and Magic Lantern supported firmware, it’s great for video and good for photography. Since the release of the 5d mark III the MKII has been falling in price dramatically on the used market. I’ve seen prices hovering right around $1500 used.
If you’re willing to put up with minor damage there is a 5d mark II listed on ebay right now with a broken USB port, body only with no extras for $1399 with free shipping, zero bids and 8 hours left. The USB port may or may not be a deal breaker for you. If it is you can still find the 5d mark II used, in good condition on Amazon for around $1550 which is still a pretty good price for a camera that was priced at $2300 just a year ago.
