28Nov DSLR FILM NOOB Podcast episode 3
Episode 3 of the DSLR Film Noob Podcast is out. I’ve upgraded the playback and download controls for the podcast and i’m working on an itunes feed. You’ll also notice the podcast tab has been added to the top of the site. You’ll be able to find new episodes in the main feed as well as in this new section of the site.
I’m also working on a remodel of the gear page so that it reflects more of my recent equipment purchases as well as an update to the audio section of the site. My programming skills are a little rusty so if you see things appearing and disappearing, it probably means I messed something up. If you see any major errors just let me know.

Do you like laptop keyboards? Try the Logitech Illuminated keyboard. I buy Opteka LP-6s, my cameras and knockoff grips like them, and Canon reads their data fine.
Good podcast bro.

The main issue with the Canon branded batteries was that sellers were trying to get close to full Canon prices for them. If they were knockoffs at a price of $10 a battery it would be a lot different.

Deejay,
Do tell more about adding 1/8 inch input to the iRig Pre. I have been plagued by a lack of an 1/8 jack on my Tascam DR-40. (Wish I would have paid more for the H4N)
Anyway, would there be any advantage to connecting a basic lav with a 1/8 inch output to the iRig input, and then sending the iRig output to the camera/recorder? Would the increased level reduce the noise in the camera/recorders preamps due to a hotter signal going into those devices?
