27Apr Sandisk SDXC 64GB Class 10 Card for $48.95!
I already drop my cash on the Pretec SDXC 64GB cards but if you didn’t pull the trigger, B&H is having a hell of a good sale on the Sandisk 64GB SDXC cards. You can check out my earlier test results on the smaller capacity Sandisk Class 10 cards here, although the Sandisk was a little behind the Pretec card in the speed department, the Sandisk card still performed quit well. I’m sure these cards will sell out quick so if you’re in the market for a large capacity SDXC card Check out B&H’s $48.95 Sandisk 64GB SDXC card sale before they sell out.

Thanks for posting, I’m in the market for some faster cards, and this looks like a good deal.

THIS IS NOT A FAST CARD! I just returned this card to B&H. I hope they will accept back since I had to cut open the packaging to use the card. It didn’t work at all with a high bitrate hacked GH2. Read the specs carefully on the B&H site: this card has only a 10MB/sec write speed. It did work well with the GH2 stock settings, but, because it’s an SDXC card it locks up any GH2 if the file created needs to span into a second file. On my mac, disk utility reported it in ExFAT format. I was able to reformat into FAT32 on the Mac, but, my GH2 formatted it back into ExFAT. I cannot comment how it works on other Cams. I only have a GH2. Do your research and good luck.

Thank you, though.

I can’t believe the exchange rates and the prices of things where I live. Consumers over here in the UK are SO ripped off!
At time of writing, these cards on B&H have gone back up to $59.95. The SAME card on Amazon.co.uk is £65.25. At todays exchange rate, that’s $105.35 USD!
In May 2011 the average U.S. cost for a gallon of fuel was $3.80. In the UK we’re paying 1.41 a litre, or £6.44 per gallon which is $10.40 per gallon USD!
I know we’re ‘in recession’ but it would be nice if UK stockists of these, and similar, cards decided to have a massive discount sale.
