28Oct Canon 40mm f2.8 price drop
The Canon 40mm f2.8 lens is an interesting little peace of kit, ( full review here) but at $200 it’s a hard sell. However, now that the price has dropped to $149 on both B&H and Amazon it could be a little more attractive offering (pun intended). I’m not sure if this is a permanent price drop or just a temporary sale, but it does make this a more attractive offering.
If you’re in the market for an ultra compact lens, this definitely one to consider. You might also want to check out my full review of the Voigtlander 40mm f2.0 Ultron SL-II. Although it’s quit a bit more expensive it’s still a very solid offering.
