09Feb New Canon 6d for just $1750 on ebay
If you are in the market for a full frame camera, the Canon 6d is selling right now new on ebay for a little less then $1750. Glad to see the canon 6d is starting to settle into a much more reasonable price for what it has to offer. At this price it’s a much better value then the original $2099. If you are interested you can check it out here.

THIS is much better!! the closer to 1500, the better…
if there was a fast CF-SD adapter out there, i would totally get on board for a used 5DmkII but i am so invested in SDXC cards, this would be my way to go…

And to think for a few weeks there was all this equal comparison between the 6D and 5Dmk3 going on. I’m glad I got the mk3.

This is great! …but I’m still waiting for it to hit $1500, hopefully soon 😀
I heard these price drops are due to a rumor that the 70D, which is due out in about a month, will have better features for photo and video at $1500. Though I doubt it would be much better so we might see 6D prices snap back to $2000 when the 70D is actually announced :/

Just purchased a Canon 6d at Amazon for $1,879 and it was worth every penny. I have 2 Canon 60d’s and I hesitated in purchasing the 6d, but the full frame sharpness, the ALL-I compression (or should I say lack thereof) and the most important epic ISO performance was better than even I hoped for. Seriously, after using the 6d for one day I can say it is worth $2,000 for serious cinematographers. Of course the moire is a bit of a problem, but the rest of the camera is a gem.
I mean I get a full frame Canon with great sharpness and the best ISO performance under $10,000. Have you read the DXO Mark ratings? Look at the chart on this page – the 6d BEATS the 5d MIII. http://www.dxomark.com/index.php/Cameras/Camera-Sensor-Ratings

It’s a decent camera, but the original $2100 price was pretty high for a camera that only advances the 5d mark II in iso and wifi features. The button layout and controls are also a step backwards. When you can buy a used 5d mark II for $1000, the 6d looks very over priced at $2100, at about $1700 it fills the spot that the 7d used to hold although the focus system on the 6d is still very disappointing when compared to the 5dmkiii as well as the 7d.
Still if your main camera was a 60d, any full frame body from the 5dmkii on up would be a nice improvement.
