Pinch in the middle cap
A complaint many of us have had about Canon glass is the outside pinch lens cap. If you have the lens hood on and your fingers are even remotely normal size, it can be a very tricky task to remove the lens cap from the lens.

In the past if you wanted a pinch in the middle lens cap for your Canon lens you would have to resort to a counterfeit copy on ebay. Thankfully after all of these years, Canon has finally decided to release their own official pinch in the middle lens cap. Priced between $7 and $15 you can now get pinch in the middle (center squeeze) lens caps at 52mm, 58mm, 67mm, 72mm, 77mm and 82mm sizes for your Canon glass. Not sure if or when we’ll start to see this ship with new lenses, but it’s a step in the right direction.

Good job Canon, fixing something that’s been a problem for more then 20 years. Glad to see you can keep up with modern times.
